Main beam is prohibited when it could dazzle other drivers or users of the same road, or of any other transport route, coming in the opposite direction, or drivers of vehicles going in the same direction. If it could dazzle, main beam must be replaced by dipped headlights. Main beam is also prohibited: - In built-up areas. - When the vehicle is stopped or parked.
