When the lane in the opposite direction to normal is opened because of roadworks on the carriageway, all vehicles allowed on the road under works may use it, unless expressly prohibited (Article 41.1 of the General Traffic Regulations). If it is opened to keep traffic flowing, only motorcycles and cars without trailers may use it.
