Under Annex II of the General Vehicle Regulations, the ECO label is for plug-in hybrids with a range of less than 40 km, non-plug-in hybrids and vehicles powered by natural gas or LPG. Pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids with a range of 40 km or more get the 0 emissions label, and combustion vehicles get C or B depending on their Euro standard.
