Under Article 97.3 of the General Traffic Regulations, if your vehicle is immobilised in a tunnel because of an emergency, you must switch off the engine, switch on the hazard warning lights, keep the sidelights on, place and switch on the light-emitting hazard warning device (V-16), and call for help without delay from the nearest emergency (SOS) post, if there is one. The occupants will leave the vehicle and go to the nearest shelter or exit.
