Correct answer
- ALa calzada o el arcén de las vías interurbanas. The carriageway or hard shoulder of roads outside built-up areas.
Explanation
The high-visibility reflective vest is compulsory when the driver gets out of the vehicle and steps onto the carriageway or hard shoulder of a road outside a built-up area: it makes them visible from a distance and reduces the risk of being hit.
