Every owner of a motor vehicle, moped, powered cycle, or trailer or semi-trailer with a maximum authorised mass of more than 750 kg, whether or not it is coupled, must take out an insurance contract for each vehicle registered in their name. Railways, trams and other vehicles that run on their own tracks are excluded. Insurers give us the joint accident report form (parte amistoso), which we can use after an accident to speed up the handling of the damage. On it we write the personal details of the two parties involved and a small drawing of what happened.
