Correct answer

Anyone who witnesses, comes across or is involved in an accident must help when necessary, as long as there is no risk to themselves or others. Failing to do so is the criminal offence of failing to help a person in danger under the Criminal Code. The same applies to people who cannot help and do not urgently ask others for help. Road users who notice an accident but are not involved do not have to stop when their help is clearly not needed or when the authorities or their officers are already at the scene.
