Correct answer
- CNo.No.
The hard shoulder is the part of the road next to the carriageway that is not meant for motor vehicles, except in special cases. To drive on the hard shoulder, it must be wide enough and passable, and the vehicle's MAM must not exceed 3,500 kg. If, because of an emergency, we are travelling at an abnormally low speed, that is, below the minimum speed, we may use the hard shoulder if we are seriously disrupting traffic; if not, we must stay on the carriageway.
