Correct answer

  • ALa posible falta de adherencia de los neumáticos al pavimento. The possible lack of grip between the tyres and the road surface.
Explanation

On a wet carriageway the tyres lose grip, increasing the distance needed to stop (the braking distance can double), so we will reduce speed and increase the safe distance. Always brake gently to avoid locking the wheels. Take extra care at high speed, as aquaplaning can occur (the tyres cannot clear the layer of water on the carriageway and lose grip).
