Moving past a vehicle is not considered overtaking: - When traffic is so heavy that vehicles occupy the whole width of the carriageway and you can only travel at the speed of the vehicle in front. - When one vehicle travels in lanes or parts of the road intended for certain vehicles or certain manoeuvres and the other does not, or vice versa (acceleration lane, deceleration lane, bus lane, turning lane, etc.).
