Outside built-up areas you may warn the driver of another vehicle that you intend to overtake with an audible signal (Article 110.2 of the General Traffic Regulations) or replace it with short flashes of the dipped headlights or main beam without dazzling (Article 109.3). In addition, the move to the side is signalled with the indicator.
