Under Article 41 of the General Traffic Regulations, lanes opened in the opposite direction to improve traffic flow may only be used by motorcycles and cars, not by cars towing a trailer. If they are opened because of roadworks on the carriageway, all vehicles allowed on that road may use them, unless expressly prohibited.
