When we join a public road from a service area, we will give way to vehicles travelling on that road, whether they are approaching from the right or from the left. As a general rule, joining the traffic after being stopped or parked, from a service area or from an adjoining property, must be done: - Without getting in the way of other drivers and road users, to whom you must give way, taking into account their position, path and speed. - Without forcing approaching vehicles to swerve sharply. - At a suitable speed. - Without creating danger for other road users.
