According to Article 88.2 of the General Traffic Regulations (RGC) (as worded by RD 518/2026), on stretches where overtaking is prohibited you may overtake, using the part reserved for the opposite direction, cyclists and other cycles, mopeds, personal mobility vehicles (PMV, e-scooter), pedestrians, animals, animal-drawn vehicles and special agricultural vehicles, when their speed allows it to be done without risk. Motorcycles and lorries are not included.
